I'm Dia Jonas Dreessen, a 33-year-old Belgian living in Amsterdam.

I’ve got into photography through my dad. He helped me with the basics and until today I work with his old analogue camera.

After my art education, I went to Narafi / LUCA Brussels and finished my photography studies in 2012. Now I am working as a freelance photographer in the most varied assignments. I am honoured to say I published in ELLE magazine and worked for WeTransfer, Red Bull, The Yacht Week, Samsung, Boiler Room, Carhartt WIP, Radio Radio, Is Burning and many more.

I am able to see people’s true energy and that’s what I like to capture in a picture. The images of an instantaneous moment in the here and now. Beside that I am working as a Coach which helps me even more to tune in on the person in front of me.

 I am grateful to combine my passions in life and call this work.
